Field Computer Technician
Repair and maintain laptops, desktops and peripherals at customer premises across Nairobi.
About the role
We are looking for a hands-on computer technician to carry out on-site diagnostics, repairs and installations for homes, schools and businesses. You will be the face of Supreonix Support at the customer's location, so clear communication and professionalism matter as much as technical skill.
What you will do
- Attend on-site jobs on schedule and diagnose hardware and software faults.
- Carry out repairs, upgrades and part replacements.
- Install and configure Windows, software, printers and networks.
- Record what was done, parts used and time spent in the job system.
- Advise customers clearly and honestly on options and costs.
- Keep the vehicle, tools and parts kit organised and report low stock.
What we are looking for
- Diploma or certificate in IT, computer science or a related field (or proven equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years repairing laptops and desktops.
- Confident with hardware repair, Windows installation and networking basics.
- Own transport or willingness to travel within Nairobi.
- Good spoken and written English and Kiswahili.
- A smartphone for job updates.
Nice to have
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification.
- Experience with CCTV or point-of-sale equipment.
- Valid driving licence.
